About Long Path (Rockland Section)
The Long Path is a 358-mile end-to-end trail from the George Washington Bridge to Altamont, NY. Its Rockland section runs along the Palisades ridge through Tallman Mountain SP, Piermont, Nyack, Hook Mountain, and on into Bear Mountain / Harriman -- some of the most scenic trail miles in the lower Hudson Valley, often accessible from short side approaches.
