The New York State 12Y Little League Baseball Championship is coming to Rockland County! July 24-31!  Hosted by the West Nyack Little League, the games will be held on Cesca Field at the West Nyack Little League Complex at Germonds Park.  The tournament features district and regional champions from across New York State competing for a spot in the Metro Region Tournament and a chance to head to the Little League World Series. Don’t miss “The World of Rebecca Franks!” Saturday, September 5. 1:30-2:30PM at the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site.  Site Interpreter Joanne Stein-Kohler has studied the Jewish experience in America in the years leading up to and after the American Revolution, through the lens of Rebecca Franks, the “Jewish Belle” of Philadelphia who married General Sir Henry Johnson. He had been in the command of the British garrison at Stony Point but was forced to surrender the post in 1779 at the Battle of Stony Point. FREE event!  CLICK HERE for details.
