Rockland Connected

THE VISION

Rockland Connected is a community building project created to make it easier for people to discover, connect, and participate in everything Rockland County has to offer. Today, information about local businesses, events, organizations, opportunities, and creative work is scattered across countless websites, social media pages, groups, and platforms. Finding what you're looking for often takes more time than it should, causing many people to give up or settle before discovering the people, places, and opportunities that truly fit their needs. The purpose of Rockland Connected is to create a central hub for the county. A place where residents can discover what is happening around them, businesses can reach local customers, creatives can showcase their work, organizations can share their mission, and community members can form meaningful connections. We believe Rockland County is stronger when people know what is available around them. By increasing awareness, supporting local businesses, highlighting creative talent, and making information easier to access, we can help build a more connected, engaged, and thriving community. Our mission is simple: make it easier for people to find each other, support each other, and build a stronger Rockland County together.

Bring the rough version

You do not need a finished plan to begin.

A useful first studio only needs an idea, a reason it belongs in Rockland, and one honest next need. The right neighbors can help shape the rest.
