Brick-A-Palooza

We teach Tango Nuevo, Cha Cha and Basics of Salsa every Wednesday from 7PM-9PM. We have two instructors Victor and Viktoriia teaching in a beautiful space of Gagliardi Dance Studio. In the spirit of harvest, we gather in dance. Through movement, we embody the joy of the harvest feast, the reverence of ritual, and the catharsis of somatic release. Together we step into revelry, grounding ourselves in gratitude for the earth’s generosity, and in the kinship of community. Ecstatic Dance is a form of freeform movement where participants let go of inhibitions and dance to the rhythm of the music without following any structured steps or routines. It’s a way to express oneself authentically through movement in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Join the Historical Society of the Nyacks in commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11th with a self-guided tour exploring the Nyack places and people connected to extraordinary lives of service, courage, and community. DISCOVER THE STORIES OF Welles Crowther Harry Wanamaker Jr. Stacey Sennas McGowan  Joseph Stach Jr. Jon Albert Ross Dailey At the start of the tour, visitors will receive a commemorative map and red bandanna before exploring six meaningful locations throughout Nyack. At each stop, volunteers, firefighters, and local historians will share personal stories and memories that illuminate their extraordinary lives. The event begins with sign-in at the Historical Society of the Nyacks Museum at the Depew House, 50 Piermont Avenue, Nyack.  The tour is self-guided and is primarily accessible by car. Attendees are encouraged to explore the six locations in the order in which they appear on the map provided. Please spend as much time as you wish at each stop. The tour runs from 12:00–3:00 PM. Sign-in begins at 11:45am and ends at 1:00pm. Public parking is available at each location; attendees are asked to park only in legal parking spaces. The event is free, but space is limited. Registration is required and closes Saturday, September 26th at 6:00 PM.
