Haverstraw Brick Museum: 410/250
The Haverstraw Brick Museum is marking two significant milestones during the weekend of June 20, 2026: 410 years since Haverstraw first appeared in the Dutch historical record as "Haverstroo," and the 250th anniversary of the United States. To commemorate these occasions, the museum will debut a new exhibition titled "Haverstraw & The American Revolution," which explores the largely untold stories of New York's origins, America's fight for independence, and the rise of Haverstraw's 130-year-old brick industry. The exhibition also traces the growth of the Industrial Age and Haverstraw's role in building the infrastructure of New York City. Starting in June, the museum will be open to the public Fridays from 1–4PM, Saturdays and Sundays from 12–5PM, and by appointment during the week.
