A dramatic mile-long pier extending into the Hudson at Piermont, originally built in 1841 as the eastern terminus of the Erie Railroad. Today a flat, paved walk popular with strollers, runners, cyclists, fishermen, and sunset photographers, with panoramic views of the Hudson, the Tappan Zee, and the Palisades.
