Suffern Lions Club

About this club

The Suffern Lions Club is a local chapter of Lions Clubs International, the global service organization best known for its work on vision and eye health. The club brings together volunteers from Suffern and the surrounding Town of Ramapo to support sight-related causes, collect and recycle eyeglasses, fund scholarships, and run family-friendly fundraisers and community service projects throughout the year. Like all Lions clubs, it operates on the motto "We Serve," and welcomes new members who want to give back to their community.

Suffern

Meets the second Friday of each month at noon when college is in session in the Technology Center, Ellipse Room 8180.

A Rockland County senior club based at Rockland Community College, designed to encourage older adults to participate in educational, cultural, health, and social activities. Members enjoy guest speakers, cultural presentations, trips, and social connection during the college year.

Pearl River Elks Lodge 2041

Nanuet

Membership meetings 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.

A long-running Elks lodge at 2041 Elks Drive in Nanuet, with membership meetings the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month and a member lounge open daily. The lodge runs community service, scholarship, and family-friendly events, and rents its hall for weddings and gatherings.
