About this club

Founded in 1958, the Rockland Astronomy Club is one of the East Coast's premier amateur astronomy organizations, running 50+ educational events a year. RAC hosts monthly meetings at Rockland Community College, the annual Northeast Astronomy Forum (NEAF) at RCC, the multi-day Haven Star Party in Livingston Manor, and frequent public observing nights.

The Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program for Rockland, training certified volunteers in horticulture, soil science, and integrated pest management. Master Gardeners staff the diagnostic helpline, lead public garden talks, and tend demonstration gardens at the CCE Stony Point campus.

Friday cruise nights, May through October, 5:30-9pm at Central Ave Field.

A Pearl River-based antique, classic, hot rod, and custom car club founded in 1995 with 100+ members. The Rodders host Friday-night cruise nights at the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River (5:30-9pm, weather permitting) plus an annual holiday party and seasonal events.
