Special Workshop on Hosting & Crowd Work with Jackie Byrne This special seminar / workshop will focus on the the specialized skills of hosting and crowd work. Jackie Byrne Bio Jackie Byrne is a stand up comic, actor and host who is known for being super fun and quick witted. Jackie brings her bubbly and spontaneous energy to audiences all over the country. She was featured in #thatmovieaboutnjcomics directed by Bonnie McFarlane and was Beth in Another Cabin in the Woods movie. She was trained in improv and sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade and featured on FunnyorDie.com and Buzzfeed. She holds Reverend status from The Universal Life Church (aka she can marry you) and a grudge for never being cast as Annie at any point in her childhood.

With each class, you'll gain confidence, sharpen your wit, and unleash your inner comic genius. This class is for adults with no experience and for repeat students who want to revisit the basics. Taught by veteran acting teacher Maria Vail you’ll discover the secret weapons used by improvisors to create comedy scenes. Learn what makes GOOD improv and use your skills at our monthly jams.
