Don’t miss Perry Lawson Fine Arts’ latest exhibition, “Ben Schoenzeit: A World Elsewhere.”  On view September 19-November 8. Featuring paintings and sculptures by Ben Schonzeit, an American painter, sculptor, and multidisciplinary artist based in New York City.  Known as one of the pioneers of the Photorealist movement of the late 1960’s, Shoenzeit is widely recognized for his innovative use of the airbrush as a painting tool  CLICK HERE for more information.

Rockland YogaFest is a free, daylong community wellness event that brings together yoga studios, instructors, families and residents from Rockland County and beyond for a day of movement, mindfulness and connection along the Hudson River. Hosted by Playful Yogi Space, in partnership with District Hot Yoga, Jamie Surya Yoga Studio and Peace in Piermont, Rockland YogaFest was created to make yoga and wellness more accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability or previous yoga experience. The festival offers a variety of yoga and mindfulness experiences, including programming for beginners, children and families, while creating opportunities for local studios, wellness practitioners and community members to come together in one shared public space. Come spend a day by the river, explore the variety of wellness vendors, move, breathe, chant and learn from the numerous free classes offered by experienced teachers.
